BEHIND THE MIND:

STORM SMITH

CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Storm Smith is an award-winning Creative Director and the visionary force behind Sunnie&Co, a premium creative consulting firm specializing in inclusive storytelling, brand transformation, and culture-shifting campaigns. Her work lives at the intersection of intention and impact—where strategy meets artistry, and storytelling becomes a powerful business advantage.

A recognized creative powerhouse, Storm brings cinematic vision, cultural fluency, and purpose-driven precision to every campaign she leads. Her emotionally intelligent, visually elevated work has helped shape bold narratives for some of the world’s most iconic brands and entertainment platforms.

Her portfolio includes marketing strategy and creative consulting for Amazon Studios on the Academy Award®–winning film Sound of Metal, as well as Netflix’s All the Light You Cannot See, which earned Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. She directed and consulted on Apple’s Everyone Can Code initiative, combining accessibility with innovation in educational design.

Storm also served as Creative Director and Copywriter for Meta’s Better Together campaign with ZP, and as Art Director and concept originator for BBDO’s It’s Time to Redefine, an International Women’s Day initiative. She directed a collaborative campaign between Vanity Fair and Starbucks for Condé Nast and led creative development on a Coca-Cola initiative in partnership with Gallaudet University.

Her narrative storytelling extends into film as well—she directed a rom-com short film starring Lauren Ridloff and Daniel Durant, exploring three love connections with an unexpected, heartwarming twist.

Storm’s approach to storytelling is rooted in equity, impact, and innovation. As she puts it:

“When we create with intention and listen with care, storytelling becomes a force for truth, connection, and change.”.
